nath Tagore Centre for Human Values in Collaboration with the Netaji Subhas Open University offers a one year, full time, class room based postgraduate course.The basic aim of the course is to empower a person with the theoretical and practical aspects of values, ethics and leadership based on Indian culture and ethos.

Shri Joynarayan Sen:
B.E. in Civil Engineering from Bengal Engineering College Shibpur, septuagenarian Shri Sen had served the heavy engineering industry as a Structural Engineer in “Jessops” and “Hyderabad Industries” and as a consultant to various engineering firms. He is totally involved in editing of “Bharatajira”, the Bengali weekly mouthpiece of Shastra Dharma Prachar Sabha (SDPS)– a sacred organisation established by his ancestor (1872–1951). He is an erudite person and a prolific orator.

Dr. Pradip Bhattacharya
‘Prof. Bhattacharya is a CU gold and silver medalist and a prize winner in MA(English). He is the only Indian awarded the International HR Development Fellowship by Manchester United and the Institute of Training and Development, UK. He is an ex-Addl. Chief Secy., West Bengal Govt., Chairman, State Planning Board and held top administrative positions in various organizations as an acclaimed IAs officer. He has translated into English Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s Krishna Charitra, & Pratibha Roy’s Yajneswari.’

Shri Subhomoy Bhattacharjee
Currently the Manager (HR) at Ion Exchange Projects & Engineering Ltd, Kolkata office Mr. Subhomoy Bhattacharjee had also been a Faculty cum Administrator at IBRAD School of Management & Sustainable Development, Kolkata. He has served WWF-Kolkata as Motivator for Sundarban Project ,at Vivekananda Nidhi as Faculty Member in Value Orientation Programmes and is currently Assistant Secretary (Honorary) of the same.

Shri Amitava Ukil
Currently Mr. Amitava Ukil is employed at Usha Martin Academy, Kolkata and had also taught at NSHM College Of Management & Technology, Durgapur. He is highly proficient in teaching students of MBA, BBA(H), BCA,BHM(Hospital Management) in subjects related to Finance & Accounts. Mr. Ukil has expertise in painting also.

Shri Pasupati Mandal
An FICWA, Shri Mandal has a working experience of 38 years of which 21 years were spent at NTPC. He retired from NTPC as GM, Finance. Along with this, having strong interest in teaching and interacting with the young generation, he has been a lecturer of Indian U &E at IIAS, Kolkata, Future Engineering, BIT, WBUT etc.

Shri Bhaskar P. Banerjee
An LLB from the University of Calcutta, Shri Bhaskar Prosad Banerjee is a practicing lawyer at the High Court, Calcutta.He presently, apart from arguing various cases, is the Senior Central Government Counsel (Group II) and has appeared on behalf of various Central Government Departments. He had been the “Advocate on Record “of Visva Bharati University & has also co-authored several Law books.

Dr Sriyankar Acharyya
Dr. Acharyya is working as associate professor & head in the department of Computer Science & Engineering and I.T. in WBUT. He is keenly interested in studying books on Indian Heritage. He had been a student in the school of Indian Heritage at RKMVU for eight years.

Shri Achintya Kumar Mukhopadhaya
Shri Mukhopadhyay has been working with the Centre as Senior Visiting Fellow since January, 2015.He holds Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University .He also has Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIMC (Joka) with specialization in Marketing. He had worked in senior positions in a leading Nationalised Bank for 28 years. After taking voluntary retirement from Bank, he was teaching in regular capacity as well as Visiting Faculty in several leading MBA colleges in Kolkata like IEM, Globsyn Business school, IBMR, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan School of Management, International Institute of Management Science, Uluberia(IIMS), Icfai National College (INC), Magnus School Of Business(Icfai group) for 13 years. His areas of teaching were Marketing and Strategic Management. He was also the Principal of INC (Jamshedpur) and Academic Co Co-ordinator of Magnus School of Business (Kolkata). By way of academic achievements, he stood 3rd in order of merit in School Final Examination, West Bengal Board in 1963 and was awarded ‘National Scholarship’.
