nath Tagore Centre for Human Values in Collaboration with the Netaji Subhas Open University offers a one year, full time, class room based postgraduate course.The basic aim of the course is to empower a person with the theoretical and practical aspects of values, ethics and leadership based on Indian culture and ethos.

Apart from writing the Shraddhanjali series of monographs the Centre has been carrying out an extensive longitudinal research project on the efficacy of our EDP programmes based on the data collected through questionnaire from the participants in the EDP programmes attended by top and middle level executives of various organisations at our Centre on a regular basis.

The students of the Centre have carried out library based research assignments under the guidance of our core faculties in the following areas:

Gita: conceptualizing and elevating sacro-secular symbiosis in human lives, Srimad Bhagavad Gita: timeless wisdom of an ancient scripture-a way of life for two enlightened souls, Yoga through viyoga: relevance of the Bhagavad Gita on eminent personalities, Srimad Bhagvad gita: a journey of inspiration in the light of two great souls, Srimad Bhagavad gita: essential inspiration for character edifice in the light of two legendary personalities, the srimad bhagavad gita- life’s purpose as embodied in the lives of two great souls, Moral law of cause and effect, Studentship and followership as explained in Manusmriti and Bhagavad Gita in the light of the character Debi choudhurani ,Householdership and Guna theory in the context of Manusmriti and Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Manusmriti in the light of two literary characters.

The final year students of the Centre have carried out external research projects in various reputed organisations in private and public sector under the guidance of industry experts as well as the core faculties of the Centre in the following areas:

Professional ethics in various functional areas of marketing, IT & general at TCIL: related issues & cases, Professional ethics in various functional areas of HR, CSR & Finance at TCIL: related issues & cases, Lifestyle of the artisans- comparative insights from the artisans, impact on life of it on SEZ employees, conflict resolution within West Bengal SEZ organizations, socio-economic impact of Falta SEZ.
